Our frames feature several unique design elements. We have invented a novel nose pad, we call it the suspension bridge, that accommodates lower nose bridges and provides enhanced comfort.
Our patented conic hinge rotates the temple-arms into the back of the frame giving us a remarkably slim profile when closed, a feature that we spent two years perfecting. This unique hinge has enabled us to design a remarkably slim and gently curved case that easily slips into your pocket.
Hyphen Eyewear frames are made from medical grade stainless steel from Japan because it is light, tough and very flexible. This is same material used by many luxury European brands. We use premium polarized lenses from a top European supplier for our sunglasses. Each frame is laser cut by craftsmen in a family owned business, not mass manufactured. We are a global team, with headquarters based in San Francisco Bay Area.
